What’s Going On – TV talk, CMAS, canceled shows

13 Nov

Afternoon, Scene cats!

Watched anything awesome lately?

My Wednesdays belong to “Ghost Hunters,” so I enjoyed the “All Access” show last night. Some of it felt a little hokey but it was still fun. 🙂

So, the CMAs were last night – I think everyone but me watched! Eek! Belmont’s own Mac McAnally won Musician of the Year last night – check out a story in tomorrow’s Journal about him! Speaking of, here’s a list of winners.

Oh, blog-type update stuff: We’ll do Ask Scene every two weeks, k? If you’ve got a question, ask it and it shall be answered next weekend…

And check back this weekend – I’m going to the Music with a Message festival this weekend, and I’ll try to post up updates when I can. Look for lots more, like pictures and video, Monday.

  • Showtime is working on an hourlong project from Stan Lee that tells the story of a gay superhero.
  • Speaking of movie channels, HBO has ordered a pilot based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Fire and Ice” series.
  • Could Brad Paisley and Keith Urban tour together? There’s a possibility!

So long, Mad TV. You use to be funny. But then, so did SNL.
