Man with a Message, 10/26

26 Oct

BY MICHAEL NIBLETT

We’re almost there.  November 14 and 15 are fast approaching, and there are 20+ bands booked (FOR ONLY $5), and it looks like it’s going to be one of the more spectacular line ups I’ve ever seen, which is really neat because I booked it.  Between Jamie Davis and Soul Gravy and Sky Shelton, Scott Chism and the Better Half and the Fall, there’s really something for everyone, not to mention getting to bring so many people together in the name of saving lives.  It’s really been an honor to be in the middle of all this.

I spent the week with various people from all walks of life, from business owners to youth ministers, and playing shows pushing this event.  It been awesome to see how many people are interested.  We’re selling tickets in advance of the event for the next couple of weeks because we really don’t want people to have to stand out in the middle of November in a line the day of the event to buy tickets, but you never know – it is Mississippi, so it could be 75 degrees and sunny, lol.

We’ll be playing our regular weekly Starbucks shows along with several others helping to push this along and get tickets to as many people as possible.  We’ll have them at shows but also: The Main Attraction in downtown Tupelo, Starbucks on W. Main, Album Alley, and Joe Joe’s Espresso beside McAllister’s.

We hope everyone will come out and help us make this amazing event an undeniable success. For more info contact any of the following:

You guys are awesome. I’ve been talking to instructors at Northeast trying to get various groups involved. Everyone seems very excited about this!
