What’s Going On – TV talk, GnR, Pumpkins

9 Oct

Happy Thursday Scene cats!

Let’s talk TV!

Did you watch anything awesome last night?

As usual I took in “Ghost Hunters.” I loved the location – Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana – but was kind of disappointed they didn’t catch more. Guess you can’t get ghosts to do anything on command. 🙂 But some things were definitely creepy – like the whole flashlight turning on and off by itself! Eek!

Talk TV in comments to your heart’s content…

  • Guns ‘n’ Roses’ “Chinese Democracy” finally has a release date: Nov. 23. I don’t know, though – I’ll believe it when I see it.
  • The Smashing Pumpkins’ new documentary will premiere in 40 theaters on Nov. 6 before it’s released Nov. 11 on DVD. What are the chances it’ll be anywhere near here??
  • And here’s a problem I wish Tupelo had: L.A. may have too many music venues. But really, is it possible to have too many? Cause that kinda sounds like heaven to me…

Being a ghosthunter in reality is much more boring than you’d think. 9/10 times, it’s something totally explainable like plumbing or electrical problems or people who are a bit nutty!

lol yeah I like that the TAPS team takes that debunking stance and always look for stuff like that. It makes the stuff they do find that much more scary!

Yeah, we did the same thing…but sometimes people would actually get MAD when you tell them you don’t think they have a ghost…
