What’s Going On – ‘Rocky Horror,’ Comic-Con, tours

24 Jul

Welcome to Scene Now’s 500th post! Yay!

I know. It’s not much of a real anniversary or cause for celebration, but it made me smile. And some days you need a reason to smile, even if it’s kinda silly. 🙂

Thanks for sticking with me and my fellow Scene Now bloggers: Todd Hunt, who always gives us something to talk about, and our film guru, Melanie Addington, who left Scene Now this week for bigger and better things. Thanks, Todd, and good luck, Melanie! 🙂

This blog is just about my favorite thing about my job, so thanks for reading and commenting and all that other good stuff.

OK. On to news…

  • So, if you’re reading this, you’re probably not at Comic-Con. Boo! I’d about trade a bodily organ to go. Oh wells. Entertainment Weekly will update all weekend, and here’s a story about how J.J. Abrams’ “Fringe” kicked off Comic-Con.
  • Metallica is giving us “The Unforgiven III” on the its new album. Check out the track list.
  • Vince Gill is going on a major tour this fall – but no dates that are crazy close, unless you count Nashville.
