Scene Picks

24 Jul

Some things to do in the upcoming week…

  • Heaven’s Highway will release its new CD, “Deep Roots,” next Thursday. Scene has the story.
  • The Embrace, Empires, CoryTaylorCox and others will rock Musician’s Playground Monday. See Scene for more.
  • “The Dark Knight” got rave reviews from M. Scott Morris and Paul Stone, but Kelli Karlson didn’t care for it. It’s obviously still playing, oh, everywhere.
  • Scott Chism & Better Half are playing Boondock’s Grill in Tupelo.
  • Romie’s now has music on the weekend. Check out Tony Caldwell there Saturday.
  • The Preacher’s Kids are at Two Stick in Oxford tonight.
  • Cool Papa Bell will rock Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern tomorrow night in Starkville.
  • And if you’re a big redneck like me, you’ll probably be at the Pontotoc County Fair this weekend! lol. I’m just going for the candied apples…

Who Cares what Kellie thinks about the Dark Knight what does she know she has said some movies are good that isn’t worth 1 cent. The Dark Knight is awesome and brings Batman to a whole new level right where he needs to be….
