What’s Going On – More on Ledger, strike

23 Jan

Happy-but-still-sad Wednesday morning to you all.

There are several Heath Ledger-related sites and pieces below, as well as some other entertainment bits too.

  • Ledger had totally completed any work on “The Dark Knight,” so the movie isn’t in jeopardy. As of now, the movie is still on schedule to be released July 18.
  • Speaking of the strike, here’s an update on upcoming pilots.
  • iTunes has a “Cloverfield” mix of all the songs heard at the party. I suggest picking it up, since there is some way awesome tuneage on there. Especially buy “West Coast” by Coconut Records, possibly the best song ever (at least to me right now). But steer clear of Sean Kingston…I just don’t trust that kid.

For Poppelreiter fans: In last week’s Daily Journal I wrote about a Drew Poppelreiter Fan Club on Facebook. Now, there are two groups. The original group has over 1,500 fans and the new one has 90 members. Messages range from a simple good luck to marriage proposals.

Its always sad when someone dies. It seems even more sad when its someone in the public eye.
