And it ends…

Lori can’t talk well, she’s all screamed out, but her blogging fingers are ready to go…and she’s the bigger 3DG fan, so I’ll let her do this one…

Oh man.  It has at least been three or four years since I saw a young Canadian band called Three Days Grace at the New Daisy Theater in Memphis, and boy have those boys grown as musicians.

Although their set up on stage wasn’t the most interesting, those guys, specifically the lead singer, put on an incredible show and try to engage the audience in everything they sing.  They sang some old ones: “Just Like You,” “I Hate Everything About You,” “Home,” and even a cover of an Alice in Chains Classic.  They sang some newbies: “Let’s Start a Riot,” “Animal I Have Become,” “Pain” and my personal favorite “Never Too Late.”  These guys definitely can bring it. They never stopped for a moment and went straight through, not even needing an encore performance.

These guys are great, but the crowd wasn’t as enthusiastic as I would hope.  Tupelo, if you want to see this amazing band again, get your act together. For the love of all that is holy, learn how to mosh properly, and if you don’t know the words — DON’T MAKE THEM UP AND PRETEND YOU DO.  Goodnight and Good luck.  I hope to see y’all soon.
