The latest buzz circulating in the world…

  •  From the “Why?” files: Good Charlotte will open for Justin Timberlake as he embarks on his tour this fall.  Yep, that means the “punk”-pop group will open for Mr. SexyBack at his gig in Memphis Aug. 6.
  • Good news, Buffy fans: The first five issues of the new season will be released as a trade paperback that will be published in November.
  • James Blunt is gearing up to release his new album. The first single, “1973,” drops July 23, and the album, “All the Lost Souls,” hits stores Sept. 18.
  • Bonnaroo wasn’t a good time for all: Jazz great Ornette Coleman collapsed on stage at the festival yesterday (Sunday). The 77-year-old saxophonist is resting at a local hospital.
  • Ringo Starr’s solo work will soon be available on the web. “Beaucoups of Blues,” “Ringo” and “Photograph: The Very Best of Ringo Starr” will drop online on Aug. 28.  Ringo’s next record, “Liverpool 8,” is slated to drop in January 08. So, if Ringo’s work is online, and Paul’s work is online…………………….
