Better late than never, eh, Scene cats?
Today has been insane to say the least, so I’m only just now getting around to doing my What’s Going Ons.
Either way – newsy briefs!
- The BET Awards noms have been announced, and T-Pain is ahead of the pack.
- Here’s a story about Eddy Arnold’s funeral.
- R.L. Stine’s “Goosebumps” series is coming to the big screen. My inner 12-year-old is thrilled.
- You’ve probably already heard but Jimmy Eat World is re-releasing “Bleed American,” one of the most important records of my young life (just a little bit of trivia for you there). They’re also touring, but nowhere near here. No, I’m not bitter…
- First comes the album, second comes the tour. Metallica will tour after the group’s next album drops in October.
- Heavenly news for my fellow geeks: Here’s a “Dollhouse” trailer, a rad Joss Whedon interview and a story about how “Dollhouse” will feature less commercials when it airs. Yippee!
- Speaking of shows on the FOX line-up…here’s a story about FOX’s fall line-up.
