Here are some things happening this weekend…

• The Cellular South GumTree Festival is all weekend long. We’ve got the lowdown on it, so pick up Scene this week.

• Get your purse on at the Mama’s Got a Brand New Bag auction. Slightly-used designer bags will go on silent auction starting at noon Saturday at 211 Court St. in Tupelo. Even better – all proceeds go to S.A.F.E. Emergency Family Shelter.

• Rock for a cause this weekend at Proud Larry’s. All proceeds from Fixin’ to Rock will go to Mississippi Spay Neuter. For a $20 donation, you can hear Rosamond and Gin-Gin and George McConnell & the Wild Animals.

• Crossin Dixon is making a return trip to Rick’s Cafe in Starkville this weekend.
