Now the sun shines bright

Just a couple of band updates.

Tupelo’s own 69 Modelhas put up a second video on its Web site. Go to the site, click on Video, and it’ll take you to the band’s video for “Crosstown Train” and its newest vid, “Sick of It All.”

Since I started at the Journal a year ago, one of the best bands I’ve discovered is Victory Records’ Moros Eros.
Although I’ve never found anyone else who’s into the band or its first album, “I Saw the Devil Last Night and Now the Sun Shines Bright,” I’m posting this update anyway: Moros Eros is going into the studio for the entire month of July. The band’s new record — which is so far untitled — will be produced by Jay Clark of Pretty Girls Make Graves. A release date has been set for Oct. 16.
That news just made my month.:)
